A Heart of Gold
Protect the heart of New Zealand farms by giving them a Taurine-enriched diet
Giving Back
For every Wishbone Gold bag sold, we’re giving $5 to the Rural Support Trust to help New Zealand farmers
Because working dogs are the heart of New Zealand farms, we want to protect them with a heart-healthy, Taurine-enriched diet.
From our family-run pet food company located here in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, we source only premium quality ingredients to support their heart health, muscles, and joints.
We cook all our food in small, single batches so it’s always fresh.
Our purpose is to show pets the same kindness, love, and respect we would give to any family member.
We make healthy, homestyle food that you can trust, straight from our family to yours.
Why We Do What We Do
Each year, we visit the families who raise and grow the meats, fruits and vegetables that make Wishbone Pet Foods so exceptional. Walking their fields, learning about their harvest, we continue to build relationships with organic growers and farmers to encourage sustainable farming practices.
We find ways to support them that’s why for every Wishbone Gold bag sold, we’re giving $5 to the Rural Support Trust (RST). RST is a nonprofit organization based in New Zealand that provides free assistance to rural communities and farmers. They provide financial and business advice as well as offer confidential stress management services.
